Parental Leave

Amgen provides up to 6 weeks of paid parental leave to care for a staff member’s child after birth; or for the placement of a child with a staff member for adoption or foster care (collectively, “baby-bonding purposes”). Parental leave must be completed within 1 year of the birth, adoption or foster care placement of the child. Paid parental leave is available only in connection with births or child placements that occur on or after January 1, 2017.
